Aflac Group Voluntary Benefits
Aflac Group Voluntary plans provide you with cash benefits that are there when you need them. These Aflac plans complement our medical plans which have high deductibles and therefore higher out-of-pocket costs when you are in an accident, diagnosed with cancer, or hospitalized.
You can only enroll during open enrollment, as a new hire, or due to a Qualifying Life Event.

AFLAC ACCIDENT INSURANCE
It’s hard to be prepared for an accident or the expenses that can arise after it happens. You never know when an accident is going to happen. The Aflac Accident Advantage plan pays a cash benefit to you so you can use this money for anything you want which can include out-of-pocket medical expenses, childcare expenses, or home expenses.

AFLAC CANCER INSURANCE
Receiving a cancer diagnosis is devastating for that person and their family. The out-of-pocket medical costs and costs that arise while receiving treatment can add stress to an already stressful situation. The Aflac Cancer Care Classic plan will pay a cash benefit upon your initial diagnosis of a covered cancer along with other benefits payable throughout cancer treatment.

AFLAC HOSPITAL INSURANCE
If you are admitted to the hospital and are facing out-of-pocket costs associated with your medical care or other expenses that come up while you are confined to a hospital bed, Aflac’s Fixed Indemnity Hospital plan pays out a cash sum based on a list of covered benefits.

Choose the plan that’s right for you. If you become disabled, Aflac’s STD plan will not coordinate with any other disability insurance you may have which will increase the amount of money you receive to help pay for out-of-pocket expenses.
